The night before yesterday, we held a pre-study training meeting in the United States. At the meeting, we shared with the students and students invited to study in the United States, including the experience of study, campus life, safety and other aspects, and the students found it very rewarding. Due to the limited time in the meeting, I have two additions that may be useful for the students:

1. Our guest suggested that students go to the United States light, do not bring a lot of clothes, I agree。Last week, I went to Washington, the capital of the United States for a meeting, and bought a pair of NIKE sneakers at a shoe store, which cost 63 dollars, more than 200 yuan cheaper than the domestic。I also saw a shoe store, if you buy two pairs of shoes at a time, the second pair is half price。The shoes of discount shoe stores are placed according to the size of the shoes, and the shoes of the same size are placed together, so that customers can choose according to their own size。

2. Remind students not to lock the baggage checked by air, because the United States Customs checks the baggage at any time, if the baggage is locked, customs officers have the right to break the lock and open the baggage。When I returned to China last week, I opened my luggage and found a notice inside telling me that my luggage had been opened and checked by customs officers。
